Feanor

In the Silmarillion, it's Feanor whose mind is poisoned by the lies of the Enemy, compelling him to forge arms, to equip himself and a large number of his people (allegedly for war against this Enemy), and then to turn those weapons against other Elves who refuse to get sucked into his madness. With blood on his hands, this tragic hero leads a host of his kin back to Middle-earth, but as a traitor who has no choice but to leave paradise; he and his people have become exiles, and their futures are twisted by infighting, treachery, and pride. What I like most about this image is how heavily armored Feanor is, reminding me of those scenes from the Silmarillion. He is the greatest of the Elves in many ways, but he's also their greatest failure. Well done.
